Subcontract Manufacture and Assembly
YPS subcontracts the manufacture and assembly of components for leading microscope manufacturers. We also undertake the design, construction and testing of field emission sources and columns, electron lenses, chambers and electron energy analysers.
Highly skilled engineers generate design principles and product specifications. Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings are used to detail engineering and manufacturing particulars and specifications. For quality control, items are tested using a UHV test chamber and checked to see that specifications are reliably met before being dispatched to the customer.
