In a groundbreaking development towards democratising access to advanced electron cryo-microscopy (cryo-EM), YPS proudly announces its pivotal role in the development of a purpose-built electron microscope operating at 100keV. This technological innovation, a collaboration spearheaded by Chris Russo’s and Richard Henderson’s groups in the LMB’s Structural Studies Division, marks a significant departure from the escalating costs associated with state-of-the-art electron microscopes.
